Rebuilding the Republican Party

Contrary to the current talking points circulating, if the Republican Party wishes to survive, they must continue to wean the Arlen Specter’s, John McCain’s, and Charlie Crist’s. Then, they can rebuild the Republican platform on Conservative principles and give the American people bold, legitimate candidates for office, instead of “the lesser of two evils.”

Bush 43: A Legacy

With the election and subsequent inauguration of Barack Hussein Obama (based on hallow platitudes such as hope and change), it seems appropriate to reflect upon the possible legacy left by our 43rd President. The Presidency of George W. Bush will undoubtedly remain mired in controversy for quite some time. Indeed, his Presidency was far from perfect; however, history will eventually reflect his time in office as both honorable and successful.

Our Disgraceful Senate

“…as I hear the questions and the statements today, it seems to me that there’s a kind of hear no progress in Iraq, see no progress in Iraq, and most of all, speak of no progress in Iraq.”  - Senator Joe Lieberman

General Petraeus testified before the Senate earlier this week. Almost everyone saw the sound [...]

President Bush Highlights Democratic Hypocrisy

President Bush gave a great speech at the Nation Museum of the United States Air Force today. The speech was largely about the Iraq war; however, Bush addressed some Democratic criticisms. The highlight came when he addressed the pace of progress made:
“They got their budget passed. Sometimes it takes our Congress awhile to get its [...]

The Thought Police

 BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU.
- George Orwell, 1984

There has been a lot of talk in the various media outlets of the Left about Rush Limbaugh’s “Operation Chaos.” As a participant in Operation Chaos, Republican Voters are asked to temporarily switch their party affiliation to Democrat and vote for Hilary Clinton in an effort to, [...]

The Audacity of Barack Obama

“A candidate for change.” That is how supporters describe Barack Obama on a daily basis. “Change.” How vague is that? Exactly what change can Obama bring to the United States? Perhaps we should attempt to answer this riddle by looking at Senator Obama’s legislative accomplishments. In his three years in the United States Senate, he [...]

McCain Secures Republican Nomination

Last night, Senator John McCain secured enough delegates in the Republican Presidential Primary to secure the nomination. After weeks of running past the point of no victory, Governor Mike Huckabee finally dropped out. As I have stated in previous articles, McCain should now begin the process of securing the Republican base - namely the Conservatives [...]

Barack Obama Keeps Bad Company

The Weather Underground was a domestic terrorist organization in the 1960s and 1970s. They have claimed reasonability for over 25 bombings - mostly of United States military buildings, including the Pentagon. They were also responsible for several riots and jail breaks. They even made an official public declaration of war against the United States. They [...]

Nader v. Democratic National Committee (2008)

Once again, Ralph Nader has announced his candidacy for President of the United States on meet the Press. I’m not going to go into any details about Nader and his Socialist policies. It’s really not important. The other two parties are much too dominant for Nader to have any real chance at winning the Presidency.
The [...]

Bush 41 Endorses the Straight Talk Express

Yesterday, newspapers were filled with titles to the effect of “Bush 41 Endorses McCain.” While I have respect for the former President, the only thing that came to my mind again and again as I read story after story about 41 and McCain was: Who cares? Why does this matter? Endorsements do not make a [...]
